Established in 2000 by Geoff Clarke to provide comprehensive and up to date training and safety advice to the grinding industry. Formerly technical manager with Universal Grinding Wheel Co Ltd with over 50 years experience in abrasives technology and 25 years of active involvement in the preparation and implementation of safety standards for the abrasives industry.

In addition to being technical consultant to FEPA, the Federation of European Producers of Abrasives and to the British Abrasives Federation (BAF), Geoff is the chairman of the BSI Standards Committee for abrasives, the principal UK expert and former chairman of the ISO Standards Committee for abrasives and the principal UK expert for CEN, the European Committee for Standardisation.

He has been instrumental in the revisions of the FEPA and HS(G)17 safety codes, the widely recognised codes of practice for the industry. He is also an inspector/auditor for the Organisation for the Safety of Abrasives (oSa).
